Introduction to Parametric Structural Modeling and Design with Karamba
Interactive Design | Online Workshop | English | North-South Americas
Description:
Key Words: Structural,Simulation,Design,Karamba
Required Skills: Structural modeling basics, Grasshopper basics
Required Software: Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Karamba (temporary license will be made available)
Required Hardware: PC
Maximum number of participating students: 20
This workshop aims to offer the basics of parametric structural modeling in the Karamba add-on within the Grasshopper environment. The basic configurations and meanings of reinforced concrete structural frame models (slab-beam-column system) will be presented and parametric models performed by the participants will be experienced. At the end, the participants will be able to understand the basic configuration of this level of structural modeling and apply the optimization of the structural system using the galapagos.
