Social Housing projects present an incredible opportunity when it comes to study the relationship between its inhabitants, its units, and its public spaces. Hence, these kinds of spaces have been designed to foster the interaction among its inhabitants, nowadays, they have to adapt to new uses that have varied from the original idea. Therefore, new types of interactions have emerged, not only with its inhabitants, but also with many devices connected to the internet and within each other, widening the complexity of these all type of interactions, and how they affect these kinds of spaces. How could this spaces evolve is one of the aims of this coursework.
The students could choose a project of social housing from a list, together with a list of future scenarios, which will portray new uses and the level of interaction within the social housing spaces. The future scenarios will guide the variations and kind of relations between its users within each student´s proposal. It is intended for students made a short research and reflection throughout its proposals, unfolding future scenarios.
The meetings with students are planned to be a lecture that complement and set a general context within the workshop theme. After that, tutors and students will debate about their proposals and how they are evolving. The final result could be a set of images or a video animation.
